I liked this quote so much I made this thing.

Amen to that.
This video cuts me up something awful. It’s not just the song, although that really does go towards it. It’s the whole thing. Freddy. It breaks my heart to see him like this - he was a wonderful artist, powerful and majestic on the stage. He just looks so… damaged here. He’s so pale and thin. He’s skin and bone. He’s got no fight left in him, but he’s giving it what he’s got; he knows what’s coming, he knows he’s not long left, and so he’s looking back at it all. He could barely stand at the time because of the pain, but he kept going no matter what, right until the end. He was broken and beaten, but he wouldn’t go down without finishing what he had to say. You can see a bit of it in all of them - Brian May looks… well, it might be the first time he starts showing his age. He knows what’s happening to one of his closest friends, but he keeps going to keep him supported. He looks tired, like he’s nearing the end of his march. And they were, they were getting near the end of a long journey that had taken them everywhere, but it had to end on a note like that. Nothing more, nothing less.
I suppose you never want to see your heroes get old.
